Swine Flu


The swine flu is a disease of pigs. People do not normally get the swine flu. The swine flu spreads from people-to-people. The swine flu happens to be contagious and it is spreading from human to human. People with swine flu a fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headaches, chills. Some people have diarrhea and they are vomiting associated with swine flu. If you do not wanna get the swine flu you should: wash your hands. Try to stay in good general health. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food. And try to avoid close contact with people who are sick. Poeple in Mexico are wearing face masks because the sdwine flu is in Mexico and is spreading around the world.


What can I do to protect myself from getting sick?

There is no vaccine available right now to protect against swine flu. There are everyday actions that can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza. Take these everyday steps to protect your health:
1) Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.


2)Wash your hands often with soap and waterFOR 15-20 seconds, especially after you cough or sneeze.


3)Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
Try to avoid close contact with sick people.


4)If you get sick with influenza, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
